The wheel may not have been reinvented in Pokémon Sun and Moon, but I feel the better graphics, more streamlined menus, and the tighter battle system make this a much better experience. I think as well as the battle, the overall gameplay is much more refined. There are also these new Z moves that you can use once in a battle.

The battles are much easier to do and the way the game gives you more information about what your attacks do is great and welcome addition.

Of course, a huge part of Pokémon games is the battles and the battles in Pokémon Sun and Moon feel great. The new Pokémon are great and the way that they fit in with the setting gets you even more invested in the game and makes you really want to catch them all. The new starter Pokémon are great and while most people seem to love Litten, I must admit that I am a Rowlett man myself. Honestly, I got just as much of a kick out of seeing these new versions of classic Pokémon as I did the new ones. They have done a great job in giving some of the older Pokémon like Grimer and Exeggutor have been given an Alola makeover to make them fit in with the new setting. Of course, a new Pokémon game is going to bring with it a whole host of new Pokémon, but before I get to that I want to talk about some of the old classics. You will also want to explore to see what other secrets this region has. The larger world that you have to explore keeps you on your toes and while you will be going out and looking for items and battles so that you can grind. This whole region feels like it is alive and there are very few places that are just empty space. Of course, it could also be a new feature on the Arc Phone, or something players only access from the Pokémon Home app itself, the way they do for Sword and Shield and other Switch games. While the function isn't live yet, Pokémon Legends: Arceus will be compatible with Pokémon Home sometime in 2022.The Alola Region that you will be exploring is the richest and most fleshed out of any Pokémon game that I have played. There's already a Trading Post in Legends: Arceus that allows players to trade with others online, so this seems like the best place for Pokémon Home support to be found in-game as well. Because of this, fans shouldn't expect to start transferring Pokémon between Legends: Arceus and Pokémon Home until the latter half of 2022, which seems like the most likely time for the support to start. Pokémon BDSP compatibility with Home will likely happen first since those games arrived in November of last year. Seeing as how the game only just released, this will likely occur later in the year. Legends: Arceus Will Allow Pokémon Home Transfers In 2022Īccording to the official Pokémon Presents video from August 18, 2021, Pokémon Legends: Arceus will support Pokémon Home transfers sometime in 2022. Much like Pokémon Home's Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl delayed compatability, the feature is coming to Legends: Arceus at some point in the future.

This is likely to keep players from transferring in overpowered Pokémon and using them to exploit in-game mechanics, battles, and more. As with most new Pokémon releases, the game isn't instantly compatible with Pokémon Home. Related: What Legends: Arceus' Protagonist Age Change Means For PokémonĬurrently, Legends: Arceus doesn't support transfers to Pokémon Home - but the feature is coming soon. For those who want to keep a living Pokédex, it's a necessity, since there's currently no way to catch every single Pokémon in any of the most recent games. Thanks to the Move option and compatibility with past games like Sword and Shield - as well as the mobile title Pokémon GO - users can keep Pokémon they've caught a decade ago alongside the latest Galar entries. The biggest, of course, is that it allows fans to keep their Pokémon all in one place. Launched as a successor to Pokémon Bank, Pokémon Home offers various services to its users. This is a way for players to keep the game's new Hisuian regional variants and any caught Shiny Pokémon in a long-term setting outside of Arceus' base game, so it's a feature many fans want. This would allow trainers to transfer their Pokémon from Legends: Arceus into Home's cloud service for Pokémon storage.

Now that Pokémon Legends: Arceus has been released, many players (and prospective players) may be wondering if it's compatible with Pokémon Home.
